This didn’t happen by accident. Corporate media, Big Tech, and political institutions actively curate reality, punish dissent, and reward conformity—always in the same ideological direction. Algorithms don’t just “reflect user behavior”; they suppress views that challenge progressive orthodoxy while amplifying narratives that benefit those already in power. That’s not neutral technology—that’s enforcement.

Identity politics is the glue holding it together. When people are trained to see themselves primarily as members of protected groups, independent thought becomes a liability. Question the narrative and you’re not just wrong—you’re immoral. That social pressure is far more effective than censorship alone.

What’s sold as “protecting democracy” is really about controlling perception. The goal isn’t informed citizens; it’s compliant ones. The danger isn’t misinformation—it’s a media class that decides truth by ideology and labels disagreement as extremism.

This isn’t about beliefs being shaped. It’s about beliefs being managed.
